Throwback Thursday Challenge with Emma

Hi Everyone,

I've been heavily creating projects and working past my computer issues but I figured I better post some of what I'm working on and keep posting as I go. I must say I love, love, love Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenges, you never know what she's going to "throw" at you. Yeah...cheezy I know, I couldn't resist. Anyhew this is what we were asked to do.
Here are the details for this challenge:
***Use ANY "OLDER" cartridge of YOUR choice & PLEASE incorporate the color GREEN & YELLOW somewhere on any project of your choice!
I used Locker Talk & Plantin Schoolbook for my older cartridges. Since it's graduation time I have a lot of family friends who have children that are graduating so I figured I make me a few cards to have on hand. Here's one of the many. I have to re-take photos of the other ones because for some reason after uploading the pic, it somehow became cut off. Here is my creation for the challenge. Go on over to Emma's at My Creative Time and check out the awesome designs her Design Team came up with.

Ughhh!!!! Computer Issues

We rely waaaay too much on technology. I'm am truly G-U-ILTY of this. I was trying to do some postings from home and my computer was not working in my favor last night. I'm using my computer at work (shhhh...) to let you know that I'll have some wonderful creations to share with you so check back soon. I'm going to try again tonight after running my virus scan and hopefully I will be in the clear to get things back on track provided my internet issues are cleared up also. Thanks so much for understanding. Smooches...

Busy, Busy, Busy... Cloning Anyone???

Hi All,

Things have been so hectic for me this past week at work and at home. Our boss at work re-signed with less than a week's notice and that sent more work down hill to us that were already over-loaded. On top of that I had a few luncheons to prepare for and attend over the weekend through my sorority. I spent most of Friday and Saturday in between events trying to find me and my step-daughter (who was in Sunday's luncheon event) something to wear. In the midst of that, I'm also putting together plans for my daughter's 2yr old birthday party. I haven't even sent out the invites yet. Yikes! Anyhew, needless to say I will be crafting away in the wee hours this week. I'll definitely be sharing what I'm working on with all of you. Geeesh, I really wish they would somehow legalize cloning, even if temporarily. **sn(side note): I don't think I really want a clone of the exact me..., I know I can be a hand full myself sometimes and I might have to take Me(the clone that is) O-U-T! lol! ** I know, I know... LIFE HAPPENS! I just need to make sure that I take my Vitamins for sure and maybe some Prozac...lol. Anyhew I hope you stick around and come back soon to check on what I'm up too or see if you need to lock your doors in case I'm on the loose. Love you all... Smooches!

Congrats GRAD! & Design Team Call at CRICUT 360º

Hi Everyone,

It's me again, crafting in the wee hours. Why do we do this to ourselves especially for someone like me who has to get up and go to work in the mornings. Anyhew, it's that time of year again where there are many graduates that I know this year from family, friends and colleagues. There also Father's Day creeping up, but I'll take one task at a time. I've been working on some Graduate cards and will have more to show in a few days as I complete them. I figured I would at least give a taste of what I've done thus far. I also learned through another blog friend of mine about a First Design Team Call over at CRICUT 360º. Here's the skinny: a card or a layout with LIME GREEN and a BUG in it
What a co-inky-dink that my first card will fit the design challenge specs they call for. It must be destiny. Well here is my 1st Graduation Card. I won't say who I'll be giving it to yet because of friends and family that may read this. They'll just have to be surprised. Plus I don't want to start any type of bidding war over the cards of who wants which one. **sn: the parents are just as bad as the kids, putting claim on everything I post or make and they weren't even thought about when I made it...lol.** Seriously, I Love them all for them loving what I do and keeping me inspired. Hope you like it to. I would love to read some of your comments. Thanks for all the love I've received from my fellow scrappers out there. I learn and grow from you. Smooches...

I was soooo inspired and excited about doing this one. Hope you like it to. Let me know what you think. Smooches...

Still Alive & Scrapin'...

Yes, I know, I know... it's been waaaay tooo long since I've had a post and I have no excuse for it other than just plain laziness. **sn: It feels so much better when I just put it all out there.**. Anyhew, I have definitely been crafting away, but I haven't put any photos up of what I've done. I decided before I loose my followers (I really love you all for sticking with me) I'd better show you what I've been up to. I'm going to combine all of my photos below and just make it this quick and easy for you to view. I've been doing some crafts for Mother's Day, National Scrapbook Day and Birthdays. I'll come back and provide the recepie for these later, just wanted to get something for you all to see so you know that I'm alive and Still Scrapin'. Let me know what you think I love your comments...
Oh, oh, before I forget. Alot of these were entered in the National Scrapbooking Day Challenges (NSD)over at My Pink Stamper with Robyn. There were 12 challenges for every hour and I never thought I could work so fast. Not that I completed them all in one our but my mind was buzzing with ideas each time there was a new one posted. The contest is over and I didn't win anyting, but I soooo loved the challenge and seeing where my imagination could take me.
